Holiday 2022 News - Giving Tuesday, Harrisburg Opera Association 2023 Season & Future Goals
Giving Tuesday is November 29, 2022. All of us at HOA sincerely hope you will donate on that day to our Facebook campaign located on our page @harrisburgoperassociation or in our private group. Donations made on that day will be doubled. Not on Facebook? You can still donate via our website at www.harrisburg-opera.org. Just go to the Donate page for details. Are you an Amazon Smille member? You can now donate the HOA through their program. Further down this page are details on the many ways you can donate to HOA. Any amount helps and is truly appreciated!
In May 2018 there was an unanimous agreement to point HOA toward a new direction to create an inclusively cast summer arts festival featuring multiple forms of performing arts as a framework for educational and therapeutic programs that serve those in need in the Central Pennsylvania region. As far as we know, no other arts organization has an entire season devoted to philanthropy, and we hope to be the first! While the pandemic has set us back regarding funding and resources, we hope to continue that mission next year and beyond. 2022 marked a return to live concerts and we want 2023 to return to mainstage productions increasing our educational programs and developing our therapeutic programs.
HOA is a 501(c)(3) non profit org and your donations are tax deductible. We will be making some serious announcements in the coming months as our arts organization continues its goals of Artistry, Originality, Diversity, Community, Philanthropy and live outstanding performances. Thank you all for your continued enthusiasm for our organization and may you have a peace and love filled holiday season.
