Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

Harrisburg Opera Association presents Mozart's beloved Singspiel, DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE. Mozart's final stage work can be considered an ancestor of musical theater as it incorporates spoken dialogue in-between musical numbers. For more interesting trivia about Mozart's Singspiel (literally meaning "song-play") click here. Musical numbers will be performed in German with original dialogue in English written by Adam Klein with Tami Swartz. Additionally, Adam Klein returns as Director with Tami Swartz as Co-Director. Timothy Dixon also returns as Music Director/Conductor with the Messiah College Orchestra.
