Harrisburg Opera Association presented TOSCA at The Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts. This season marked the 30th Anniversary of HOA presenting professional opera productions and incorporating as a 501( c )(3) nonprofit organization. The opening letter in HOA's program from former Mayor of Harrisburg, Stephen R. Reed, mentioned a special appreciation "to the many performers, production staff, board members and other supporters of Harrisburg Opera Association (whose) dedication, sacrifice and adherence to the highest standards of presentation and operations are reflective of professional companies from cities that are many times our size." Other accolades included an official letter from Pennsylvania State Senator Jeffrey E. Piccola.

THE LITTLE SWEEP
February 9th, 10th and 11th, 2001
Video Clip: The Little Sweep Highlights featuring Christyan Seay, Lydia Griffis, Elizabeth Linds, Ryan Farling and The HOA Youth Chorus

Harrisburg Opera Association presented THE LITTLE SWEEP at the Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts. This children's opera featured many local, talented young performers as leads and The Harrisburg Opera Youth Chorus. The Harrisburg Opera Ensemble opened the production with choruses from many popular operas including Carmen, La Traviata and Pagliacci.
